01/01/1890	First political parties are formed and a House of Representatices is chosen.
01/01/1930	People who supported Militarism took control of the goverment	Japan cooperated with the West, but at the same time, power was in those who supported militarism and urban industrialists. The military prepared to attack the Asian Mainland
12/07/1941	Japan bombs Pearl Harbor and a war starts	Japan expanding made the USA nervous and they cut off all exports to Japan. Then, on Dec. 7, 1941, Japan bombed Pearl Harbor in Hawaii, and that fed the fuel to the war that was created between Japan and the USA.
08/06/1945	Nuclear bomb drops on Hiroshima and Nagasaki	Japan refused to surrender, so the USA uses the nuclear bomb in war for the first time. THey bomb Hiroshima, then Nagasaki, and then they surrender.
09/01/1951	Japan signs peace treaty with most of the nations they fought	Japan sign a peace treaty which brings peace. Another treaty, a security treaty, is signed so that the US could have an army base in Japan.
