Eli_tiny 11/11/1794 Cotton Gin In 1794 Eli Whitney invented the Cotten Gin. Whitney went to college at Yale. He was born in Massachusetts. The machine was use for separating the seeds from the lint. The invention was used so people didn't have to pick the seeds out with hands.
Reaper_tiny 11/11/1834 Mechanical Reaper The mechanical reaper was invented in 1834 by Cyrus Hall McCormick. McCormick was born in Rock Bridge. The patent was issued on June 21,1834. The mechanical reaper is used for reaping crops mechanically.It has helped us get more crops done for harvest time,
Morse code_tiny 11/11/1835 Morse Code Samuel F.B. Morse invented the Morse Code in 1835. Sam was born in Massachusetts. He was also a painter. It made transmission possible over any distance. It helps us now a days during hard communication.
Sewing machine_tiny 11/15/1860 Continuous Sewing Machine Isaac Merrit Singer invented the Continuous Sewing Machine in 1860. He was born in 1811 and died in 1875. It was used so people didn't have to hand-stitch a shirt or clothing. It is helpful fo quick repairs.
Typewritter_tiny 11/11/1866 Typewritter The typewritter was invented by Christopher Latham Sholes in 1866. Sholes also ha two other patents and latere sold them for 12,000$. It was used so people didn't have to write by hand.It is important now because without that idea we would have never had the keypad for computer or cell phones.
Alexander graham bell_tiny 11/15/1876 Telephone In 1876 the Telephone was invented by Alexander Graham Bell. Bell was born in Edinburgh,Scotland. His nationality was Scottish. The telephone was invented for communication. It is wonderful that someone invented it because now we have the cell phone which would never have had the idea, because the idea is based upon the telephone. So thank you Alexander Graham Bell!
Zipper_tiny 11/14/1891 Zipper In 1891 the zipper was invented by Whitcomb L. Judson. Judson was born in 1880 and died in 1954. The zipper is used for clothing. If Judson had never invented it then nobody could zip up their jacket, pants, or coat.
Carrier_tiny 11/14/1902 Air Conditioning In 1902 Willis Haviland Carrier invented the air conditioning. Carrier was born in Angola, NY. He died Oct. 9,1950. It was made for cooling houses in the heat. Homes are cooled off when we need it now.

The windshield wipers became standard equipment on all american cars by 1916. The windshield wipers are used for removing water, ice,frost, and fog. They are made on every car since 1916.
Percy spencer_tiny 11/15/1945 Microwave Oven In 1945 Percy Spencer invented the Microwave Oven. Spencer was born in Howland, Maine. Spencer also died in 1970. The Microwave is used to heat foods. Fact: 86% of homes have a microwave oven. The microwave oven is also helpful if you want a bag of popcorn.
Computer mouse_tiny 11/11/1970 Computer Mouse The computer mouse was invented by Douglas Engelbart in 1970. Engelbart was born in Portland. Oregon. His nationality was American. The computer mouse is helpful so you don't have to move your mouse by touchscreen. The computer mouse is used by almost everyone.
