10/04/1891	When Basketball Was Invented and by Who	In Springfield, Massachusetts, USA in 1891, where the sport of basketball was born by Dr. James Naismith The concept of basketball was born from Naismith's school days in the area where he played a simple child's game known as duck-on-a-rock outside his one-room school. The Olmec people of ancient Mexico as early as 500 years go.
12/02/1891	First Ball Used	They played with a soccer ball. Which had laces in the middle like a football and round as well made out of leather.That Ball was the only thing they had.
01/20/1892	The Rules Of The Game	1 The ball may be thrown in any direction with one or both hands 2 the ball may be batted in any direction with one, or both hands (never with the fist) 3 A player cannot run with the ball. the player must throw it from the spot on which he catches it, allowances will be made for a man who catches the ball while running if he tries to stop. 4 The ball must be held by the hands. the arms or body must not be used for holding the ball 5 No shouldering, holding, pushing, tripping, or striking
01/20/1892	First BasketBall Game	The First true basketball game as we know it was on January 20th, 1892 in Springfield, Massachusetts. Where two teams of nine played during winter mouths.

01/20/1892	First Teams	The First game consisted of 18 players, or nine to a team which was standard to the baseball teams of the day.The concept of the game must have been foreign to the players as the game.
01/20/1892	First Point Scored And How Its Got Its Name	The game was played for 30 minutes and the final score was 1-0. Halfway though the game however Chase Williams made the ball go into the peach basket, and there became the first player to ever score in a basketball game. It was during this game that someone suggested a name for this new sport, Basketball.

09/03/1908	RULE Add	The dribbler is permitted to shoot the ball. Now the dribbler is allowed to do something else besides bouncing the ball. They are allowed to shoot.Players are allowed to re-enter the game. Person fouled has to shoot the foul shot eliminating the designated foul shooter
09/01/1925	fIRST AERICAN lEAGUE FORMED	The first major professional league, the American Basketball League is formed.
09/01/1931	DISBAND	The American Basketball League disbands. Only After 6 years of being together the league decides to go there own ways.
06/02/1936	Olmpic Day	Men's Basketball has been played consistently at the Summer Olympic Games since 1936, with demonstration events in 1904 and 1924. The United States men's basketball team won all of the gold medals in the men's competition from 1936 to 1968 and still going today. The US mens teams is one of the best in the world.
09/01/1937	There Back	The American Basketball Leagueis formed again. The National Basketball League begins play again.
02/20/1940	First Televised Game	A basketball game is broadcast for the first time in Madision Square Garden Fordham University played the University of Pittsburgh in the first game of a double header as Pitt won 50-37.
06/04/1946	Nba Was Born	The league adopted the name National Basketball Association in after merging with the rival National Basketball League .
11/01/1946	First NBA Game	The first NBA was the New York Knickerbokers vs. the Toronto Huskies. The New York Knicks defeated the Toronto Huskies 68-66 in the very first NBA

He has been a major spokesman for such brands as Nike, Coca-Cola, Chevrolet, Gatorade, McDonald's, Ball Park Franks, Rayovac, Wheaties, Hanes,.He has had a long relationship with Gatorade, appearing in over 20 commercials for the company since 1991.Nike created a signature shoe for him, called the Air Jordan.

Those where the greats of the Lakers have won so many championships that makes them the best.
06/03/2010	Most Ringts By A coach	By a Coach It is Phil Jackson He has 11 ring as well six with chicago bulls and 5 with La Lakers but now he retired.
