01/05/2012	subway hero	Today in class, we watched a video about the "Subway Hero". This was our first example of a modern day hero. This gave me an idea of what a hero is, and also was a example for how to conduct my interview.
01/06/2012	Roy Benavides	Today we watched videos and read articles about the incredible story of Roy Benavides. This was the second type of hero i have learned about in class, because Roy was a war hero. My idea of a hero has now grown.
01/09/2012	Kristin Quillin interview	today i got my second example of how to properly conduct my interview, now I just need someone to interview.
01/10/2012	Assignment	Today, we got our assignment setup. Time to pick my hero!!! I'm still not sure, im thinking a political hero but that doesnt interest me.
01/11/2012	library day Part 1	I've come up with my hero! I'm going to do my project on Ayrton Senna, the greatest formula 1 car driver of all time.
01/12/2012	library day Part 2 the epic sequel	Still have not found any library books on Ayrton Senna (probably because americans like nascar for some unkown reason) despite tons of books online on various sites. Looks like i'm turning to my mom's trusty kindle.
01/16/2012	Book	It's Martin Luther King Jr. day! No school but, I did my my book on Ayrton Senna via kindle. Time to start reading...or play some video games.
01/17/2012	Change the World	We watched a couple of videos in class but one stuck out. The badly drawn boy was about small acts of kindness having huge impacts. This also adds to my idea of a hero in that a hero does not have to do something extreme like Roy.
01/18/2012	Change the World 2: a new day and new videos same groups of 4	Wells Fargo hits you deep. This time not in the stock market, but in a commercial. It had the same exact concept of the badly drawn boy, just more realistic. Also John Mayor sings a song. He was Mr. Pessimistic in todays lesson singing about hoplessness, at least i think. I could'nt understand him very well.
01/20/2012	DEAR	Finished my book today! Only took me a week to finish a 200 page book. Yea i know, i'm a pro.
01/23/2012	Interview participant wanted. See owner for more details	The only person I know that has the same passion for racing and cars as I do and basic knowledge of Ayrton Senna is my friend Santi. We met on a cruise over summer when my brother invited him to come with us. The only problem is that he's at UT right now and he has stuff to study for and parties to hit up, and he does not need to be bothered by a highschool kid for an interview so im stuck right now
01/26/2012	Blogster Rawr	Heros in Literature blog is due today. Wrote something about the Lord of the Rings books so now all I want to do is go watch the movies.
02/01/2012	presentatiom	I had my biography paragraph presentation today. I think I nailed it! Maybe it was too short but the relaxation of a 100 on my AP psych quiz and a 100 on my algebra 2 quiz and a 100 on my PreAp chemistry test to maintain my perfect 100 average in that class might have gotten to me a little bit.
