The husband's job requires him to go away for for a number of days. On his return, he is robbed by the neighborhood gangster. Sometime later, an unrelated mob shoot-out ensues. The husband happens upon the melee, recognizing the crook who robbed him.

Scarface 1932_tiny 04/09/1932 Scarface This is the original scarface, Warner were very heavily involved in gangser films in the early 1900's as they did this film and the little caesar as well as other gangster films. This film help define the gangster genre as it shows a persons rise through crime and how it can then be his downful which leads to death, like most modern gangster films today.

High sierra_tiny 01/25/1941 High Sierra This was a gangster film that helped revive its genre, as the war began this film was produced to help people get through, it is about how the gangster helps plan a robbery but it also has romance in it, this was one of the first gangster films to do this as ever other one was just about the killings or other crimes.

Scarface remake_tiny 12/09/1983 Scarface ( Remake ) Hollywood has tried to re-create the success of the early gangster films, but tryign to capture the historic and legendary appeal of these films is basically impossible, the history of the crime and gangster film genre is firmly rooted in the 1930's and 1940's, right next to the legendary actors who played the gangsters. This is the only problem with gangster films today there just not as realistic as the old ones as the old ones were about what was actually happening at the time.

It's based on a real life story focusing on Henry Hill, a young man who by his own admission 'always wanted to be a gangster'. This was a gangster film similar to the rest as in the end there is always tragedy.
