Fort neccesity_tiny 07/03/1754 Fort Neccessity Fort Necessity was the first battle of the war. Though war was not declared for another two years, this was the first major battle of the war. In the end Colonel George Washington surrendered to the French and their Indian allies. This is the unofficial start of the war.
War_tiny 05/26/1756 War Declared England declares war with France. This is the official start of the war.
Massacre_tiny 08/09/1757 The Massacre of Fort William Henry The massacre that occured happened after British forces surrendered. While French soldiers escorted the British to Fort Edward, Indians repeatedly attacked them.
Battle of quebec_tiny 09/13/1759 Battle of Quebec The Battle of Quebec marked a signifigant turning point in the war. This battle cut of New France from France, thusforth stopping most all supplies being transported to the French army on North America.
Friends_tiny 10/02/1760 Fighting in North America ends Fighting in North America was amost completely over by now. Most soldiers were then redeployed to the West Indies or other places of value to the British and French.
Treatyofparis1783_tiny 02/10/1763 Treaty of Paris This was the end of the war against the French. This treaty gave most of the French colonies in North America to England or Spain.
Pontiacs rebel_tiny 04/27/1763 Pontiac's Rebellion Starts Pontiac, an Indian leader, gathered Indians from many different areas to rise up against the British. This was a continuation of the French and Indian War, but without the French.
Siege_tiny 05/09/1763 The beginning of the Siege of Fort Detroit Pontiac's forces began their six month siege of Fort Detroit.
Win_tiny 10/31/1763 End of the Siege of Fort Detroit Pontiac's forces end their attempts to take Fort Detroit. He retreated to the Maumee River, where he continued to rally support against the British.
British soldiers_tiny 10/02/1766 End of Pontiac's Rebellion Pontiac's Rebellion ended, changing absolutly nothing except increasing hostilities between the Indians and the Colonists.
