Battlewilderness_tiny 10/28/1755 French and Indian War The Brittish and the Colonists fought in a war against the French and their Indian allies. The Brittish won but the colonists didnt want to be controlled by anyone. This led to the revolution because the colonists saw that they could fight the Brittish and maybe win.
220px-map_of_territorial_growth_1775_svg_tiny 10/27/1763 The Proclamation of 1763 The Brittish made a line, or a border, to keep Indians out of the colonies and to keep the settlers out of the the area past the Appalachian Mts. This lead to the Revolution because the colonists didnt like being told where to stay and where they had to live.
O!_the_fatal_stamp_tiny 01/01/1765 Stamp Act In 1765 Grenville a new law called the Stamp Act. This forced all colonists to buy a stamp for every piece of paper they used. This made the colonists angry because they believed that the stamp act caused unfair taxing.

They also had to provide clothes food and drinks for the soliders. This made colonists angry because they barely had enough money to pay for themself with all of the extra taxing.
Townshend2_tiny 10/27/1767 Townshend Acts The Townshend Acts was when Charles Townshed told the colonists they had to pay taxes for the Brittish Army that fought in America. This lead to the Revolution because Colonists were angry that they had to pay taxes for the soliders that they already had to pay their money to take care of due to the quartering act.
Massacre_tiny 10/28/1768 Boston Massacre The Boston Massacre was when the colonists were angry at the Brittish so they started a small riot. Eventually the Brittish got angry and shot multiple colonists. A massacre is when innocent people are killed for no reason. This lead to the Revolution because the Brittish killed innocent Americans for no reason.
Tea act_tiny 10/28/1773 Tea Act The Tea Act was when the Brittish started charging tax for tea. This made the colonists mad because they were being taxed without consent. This led to the Revolution because the colonists wre again being taxed without consent.

Intolerable acts_tiny 02/28/1774 Intolerable Acts The Intolerable Acts were laws that were passed because the king thought that he needed to take more control over the colonies. Theese laws were very harsh and were known as the intolerable acts because most colonists thought that they were way to harsh and hard to follow. This lead to the Revolution because the colonists didnt think these laws were fair.
First_tiny 09/28/1774 First Continental Congress The first continental congress was the first time a group of people from all the different colomnies met together to talked about preventing tyranny and maybe defeating the Brittish. This lead to the revolution because they were talking about starting the Revolution.
