10/27/1755 | French and Indian war | The French and Indian war was caused because the British and the French wanted territory and power. Britten had 1400 soldiers and Washington joined them but 2/3 of the soldiers died.Washington survived and led the rest of the soldiers to Virgina and Canada was given to Great Britten. This led to the revolution because they wanted to be independent from Britten. |

10/28/1763 | The Proclamation of 1763 | The Proclamation of 1763 happened because the British Government had the problem of the British and the Indians killing eachother as tey headed westward so then king George the third said: just draw a line down the crest of the Appalachian Mountains so the settlers stay to the east and the Indians stay in the west. This led to the Revolution because the proclamation came in a little late since the Applachain Moutains were already being crossed. |

10/28/1765 | Stamp Act | The Stamp Act is were the British Government had to pay of the debts of the French and Indian war but they couldn't tax Britain because they were already being taxed from the windows to salt. The British Government decided to tax the Americans. They started to tax them for any paper they used like wills,lisences, and even playing cards which led to: No Taxation Without Representation! This led to the Revolution because the Americans were being taxed for anything and they wern't represented. |

10/31/1765 | Quatering Act. | The Quartering Act happened after the Stamp act beacause the British had to provide the soldiers with quarters or houses. In 1767 both sides of the Atlantic got mad because of the taxing again. This led to the Revolution because the colinists got mad because of paying taxes. |

11/07/1767 | Townshed Acts | Its were Charles Townshed decided that since the colonists had a bad behavior it was even more important for there to be American, they should start taxing the colinists for things like glass ,paint,paper and tea. this would lead to the Revolution because the colinists didnt agree with the taxation and this got them very angry. |

10/31/1768 | Boston Massacre | The Boston Massacre happened in 1768. It was in insident between the colonists in boston and soldiers.In this event 5 Bostanians were killed and 10 were injured. Months later the government had sent 4 regiment of troops so they could try to put order in Boston. The Bostanians were mean to the soldiers and made fun of they uniforms and called them lobster backs but the soldiers could not do anything.This led to the Revolution beacause they killed people and theyn got mad so they started fighting. |

11/07/1773 | Boston Tea Party | After the Boston Massacre things did not stay peacefull it just led to more protests and one of them became known as the Boston Tea Party. this led to the revolution because of the protesters. |

10/31/1774 | First Continental Congress | The First Continental Congress began in 1774 when 50 or more leaders from 12 different colonies got together in Philadelphia. in this meeting the delegates agreed to send a message that was respectful to King George. The message was about the complains so they could recognize there rights. They finally agreed to get together in may if the boycott didn't work. This led to the Revolution because the boycott didn"t work. |
