1959 The Cuban Revolution took place in the Sierra Mountains.
Fidel Castro convinced the mountain people to take up arms against the government of Batista. Later he convinced the country and betrayed a whole nation. Within two years, it was a Communist country, No one owned anything, no capitalism or belief in religion allowed. Children were sent to state schools and they belonged to the state. Full Communism Doctrine was in place.
