02/01/1861	Seven States Seceded	Seven states are seceded from the United States of America, South Carolina, Mississippi, Florida, Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, and Texas.
03/04/1861	Abraham Lincoln Sworn in	Abraham Lincoln sworn in as President.
03/18/1861	Confederate States of America	Confederate States of America is formed.
04/12/1861	The Civil War Begins	The Civil War started when Confederates fired on Fort Sumter, a Union fort in South Carolina.
06/03/1861	Hoosier Soldiers	Hoosier soldiers first go into battle at Phillippi, Virginia.
