01/01/1585	Sir Walter Raleigh	Sir Walter Raleigh made one of the first attempts to make a colony. He sent some English settlers to Roanoke Island.
01/01/1587	Another Colony	English settlers tried to form yet another colony on Roanoke Island. They did it under Governer John White.
01/01/1590	The Mysterious Disappearing	The colonists that traveled to Roanoke Island started to dissappear. Nobody knows how they dissappeared or where they dissapeared.
01/01/1607	The Permanent Colony	England finally had settled it first completely successful permanent colony. The colony was located in Jamestown.
01/01/1707	Great Britain	The French usually traded with the American Indians as equal partners, showing respect for each other. The English who became part of Great Britain, were different.
01/01/1740	On The Move	The British people decided to move west, so they could be apart of the fur trade. The British people had better quality things that were more valuable, then what the French had to trade.
01/01/1747	Chief La Demoiselle	The Piankashaw chief left Kekionga and set up a village called Pickawillany.
01/01/1754	French and Indian War	War broke out between the French and the British.It was known as the French and Indian war, it was named this from the British prespective.It lasted nine years.
01/01/1757	The win of the British	War turned against the French and their Indian allies, causing British to win. France started running out of supplies after the war.
