    While this timeline is no where complete or even fully accurate (please excuse some dates - the module doesn't allow just a YEAR) the important thing is recognizing how much development in Spain's wine industry there has been in just the last 100 years. This is quite evident given the flurry of events between 1900 and today.

    Also, for some reason this timeline will not show the first two events, which ought to be as follows: *1100-500 BC: 1st wine made in Andalucía *200 BC: Romans encourage and spread vinegrowing
