04/19/1775 | Lexington and Concord | Lexington and Concord was the first battle of the Revolutionary War, and the Americans won victory. |

06/17/1775 | Bunker Hill | In the battle on Bunker Hill the Americans had an advantage. They were at the top of the hill, which meant that the British had to fight uphill. The downfall was the Americans did not have enough soldiers, so in the end the British won, but lost a lot of men. |

02/14/1776 | Common Sense | The Common Sense challenged British rule, and was written by Thomas Paine. |

07/04/1776 | Declaration of Independence | The Declaration of Independence listed all the reasons to separate from Britian. The decalration was signed by many imortant Americans. |

12/25/1776 | Battle of Trenton | In the battle of Trenton, the Americans snuck up on a Russian army, the Hessians, and attacked. Since the Russians were so suprised, the Americans won the battle. |

07/06/1777 | Ticonderoga | At Ticonderoga the British attacked and took over the American fort. |
