01/01/1851	Bessemer Process	was the first inexpensive industrial process for the mass-production of steel from molten pig iron.The oxidation also raises the temperature of the iron mass and keeps it molten. The inventor was Henry Bessemer it was named after him.
03/05/1872	Air Brakes	George Westinghouse invented the air brakes. Power car-brake for railways-cars to be operated by compressed air, or other compressible fluid, with the use of an auxiliary engine for compressing the air into the reservoir from which it is conducted by pipes and applied to operating the brakes, via brake-cylinders and pistons, attached to each car.
